A married woman named Neha is attacked. On regaining consciousness, she looks for her missing daughter Rhea. Ronnie remembers their past: the two met in college and fell in love, and Ronnie promised he would always help her.

They got ready to marry, but when her father got a heart attack, Neha had to fulfill his last wish to marry Shekhar, leaving Ronnie heartbroken. She says that Shekhar has been depressed since the kidnapping. Remembering his promise, Ronnie accepts the task of helping to find Rhea.
