Unable to download pxe variable file
When I look in the smsts. Will retry' then finally 'PxeGetPxeData failed with 0xc'. Unfortunately I can't copy the logs off there as I don't have any network connectivity so I've taken a screen shot to share here.
I've mirrored the port and captured the packets using wireshark After everything has gone kaputt I get this when trying to ping:.
I have more wireshark logs but don't want to dump it all here. Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help! I actually only found out because I saw that the machine I was using to mirror the port with Wireshark actually picked up one of these external IPs.
I will do some more research, if there are any update, I will let you know. Thanks and regards, Simon. Have you tried updating your boot images? Check the box to use the latest boot image from ADK and let them redistribute. Doing the same in this problematic customer enviroment, PXE without WDS doesn't work - there is no pxe boot activity at all. Computer doesn't reach PXE server anymore just like there wouldn't be IP helper if this would be in the different subets.
When your PXE boot is completed and the boot image is loaded can you see in the logs if the client can find the MP? In my own environment with different domain's I needed to create a SRV-Record so that the clients know where to look.
As you're stating that it's booting. I'm experiencing the exact same issue in my environment. Which ADK version are you running in your environment? I did that already. I also tried downgrading the drivers for this newer model to see if that would help.
Your situation is different from yannara. He can get to a command prompt with F8. He can get an IP and ping the server. That means he as the correct network drivers. Yours is different. You simply don't have the correct network drivers. Please open a different thread. Please don't hijack yannara's thread. It is not fair to him. I assume you are talking about this command?
I have uploaded smsts. Also, there is no need to check for IP helpers at this point. Before anything else, I want to apologize. My intentions are not to hijack anyone's thread and certainly not to be unfair to anyone on this and any tread but rather to be helpful.
